The HRM builds strong internal client relationships by partnering with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and both define and deliver best practices recruiting.  This goal is achieved by demonstrating a deep understanding of all phases of the hiring process.  Crucial to success is the development of recruiting plans, performing traditional sourcing strategies, active recruitment on university campuses as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.


    What You'll Do


    • Work with managers to create job descriptions and post on appropriate job sites
    • Create a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
    • Review applicants in order to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
    • Independently select candidates to present to the hiring managers
    • Direct and manage scheduler/receptionist to follow-up with candidates to schedule phone screens and interviews
    • Facilitate and conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and the implementation
    • Build networks to source qualified passive candidates
    • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
    • Create contacts within appropriate industries and professional organizations
    • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
    • Keep current by researching current trends in the primary research industry and the job market
    • Advise all information regarding interviews and rejections to candidates

    Campus Recruiting Initiatives

    • Create and manage university campus recruiting initiatives
    • Develop semi-annually campus strategy in terms of attending events and career fairs
    • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition
    • Develop working relationships with career centers and student groups in order to grow candidate pipeline
    • Facilitate presentations at universities, attend student group meetings, and increase university awareness of the company

    General Administration

    • Lead the organization of social events e.g. welcome events for new/visiting employees, seasonal parties, etc
    • Organize charity events, sort out volunteering opportunities for those interested
    • Liaise with cleaning agency, building managers, IT assistance, workmen when help is required

    What You Have

    • 2+ years of experience in a similar role as HRM, Recruit Specialist or proven relevant experience
    • Willing to work close to the business by managing and influencing teams
    • Impressive interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
    • Strong sense of responsibility, maturity and teamwork
    • Able to work independently and under pressure
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
    • Solid Knowledge of Hong Kong labor law, social and welfare benefits
