The Product Manager is a problem solver and a relationship builder. The Product Manager works with Executives, Engineering, and all business units to identify and understand business problems, strategic opportunities, and propose solutions that when implemented, lead to happier and new customers. The Product Manager also gathers high level business requirements, creatively crafts and vets solutions, proposes feasible functional requirements based on in-depth business knowledge and user experience design, authors deliverables such as user stories and functional specifications, and works closely on a daily basis with Software Engineers and end users to implement and deliver new features and feature sets. The Product Manager also owns one or many Products or feature-sets and has the authority to set priorities and strategic direction.
